I don’t really think it will happen, but what if McCain wins? What if this 72 year old man with serious bouts of cancer in his recent history and a legacy of serious additional physical ailments wins the election and this person is our vice president? What has McCain done to our country?

I’m officially speechless. I’m almost tempted to say, “Yes! Delay the vice presidential debate. Otherwise it would be too painful.” – Cy Cobb

  1. You know, none of this matters. This whole debate thing is a charade designed to take our eye off the relevant ball and make us think that we are all involved . Under the Republican watch, the USA have lost the World Trade Center and half the Pentagon, lost a city in New Orleans when they were told previously they needed $125m to shore up the levees but were given less than half. The Republicans have lied to get the USA into an expensive war, demolishing the goodwill of the world towards America in the process. And with their open checkbook policies, the Republicans have taken the greatest surplus ever and turned it into the greatest deficit ever in just a few years, bankrupting the country in the process and now promising to give a gazillion dollars to their corporate friends. Therefore, I would like to know how come when you ask your Republican voter why they will still vote Republican, the stock answer is that the Democrats will spend too much? How can half of the population be this stupid? on the other hand, how many promises have the Democrats made to pressure groups to get their man into power? Is it just me, or is something not right with the process here?

  2. I really don’t think it will be half the population this time. Obama has an incredible opportunity here, hope it doesn’t get blown.
